Membership - Long Point Improvement Association (LPIA)

This is your opportunity to show your support for our community. Dues are used for community events, maintenance of community properties, and legal matters.  Membership is completely voluntary, although you do need to be a member in order to use the boat ramp.  Members also receive a discount when renting the Hall.

Community events include holiday activities for the children (Easter Egg hunts, Halloween parties, visits from Santa), adult socials such as Wine and Cheese parties and Chili parties, and whole community activities such as beach get-togethers and Movie Nights.

Maintenance of community grounds includes such things as grass-cutting, hall maintenance, beach maintenance, and tree removal/trimming of trees on community properties.  Legal matters are varied but generally involve proper use of land, maintenance of properties, property line questions, and ownership questions.

  • Annual dues are $65 for families and $40 for seniors.
  • Boat Ramp dues are $75; additional stickers are $25 each.
  • Donations are always welcome for the Capital Reserve Fund, Legal Fees Fund, and the Boat Ramp Fund.  Thank you!

Two ways to pay:

- Click here to print the Community Association Dues form, then mail it with your check to the address included on the form.
- Pay online through PayPal.  To pay through PayPal, select the correct dues category from the drop down menu below (Non-Seniors or Seniors) and click on the "Add to Cart" button.  You will be taken to PayPal's site where you can complete your credit card payment.  Please use your Long Point address in the Shipping Address so we can properly credit your account.

While in PayPal, you can also make a donation to the Capital Reserve Fund, the Legal Fees Fund, and/or the Boat Ramp Fund.  Capital Reserve funds are used for major repairs to community-owned properties and facilities.  The Legal Fees funds are used whenever there are community issues that involve court or other legal fees.  The Boat Ramp funds are used to maintain and improve our community boat ramp.
